Bjerringbro Danish Rosewood Chest of Drawers

A Danish rosewood chest of drawers by Bjerringbro, with a low, broad silhouette that gives the richly figured wood room to take center stage. The warm brown tones and darker grain bring depth to its restrained rectangular form.

At just 15 inches deep, the chest offers a compact footprint while its 43.25-inch width provides a generous surface for a lamp, ceramics or a considered arrangement of objects. The horizontal drawer fronts emphasize its clean proportions.

The enclosed drawer storage makes this a versatile piece for a bedroom, living room or entry. Its low height also allows artwork or a mirror to sit comfortably above it without overwhelming the wall.

A maker's mark is noted on the back. Offered as one chest of drawers.

Vintage condition with age-related wear, scuffs and minor nicks.

Style Notes

The simple geometry and expressive rosewood grain are characteristic of Danish Modern furniture. Pair it with pale upholstery, textured rugs and sculptural lighting for a balanced interior, or use it to bring warmth to a more minimal room.
