Gangso Mobler Danish Oak and Ox Art Tile Dining Table With Two Leaves

A Danish oak and tile dining table by Gangsø Møbler, combining warm wood with a decorative tiled surface. The tile work is signed Ox Art and dated 1977.

The contrast between the oak and the patterned tile gives the table a distinctive visual center. Its broad rectangular form makes the decorative surface part of the dining arrangement rather than an added accessory.

The table measures 61 inches wide by 37.75 inches deep and includes two extension leaves, each 17.75 inches wide. The leaves allow the table to accommodate different dining arrangements while retaining its material character.

The tile work is dated 1977. Offered as one dining table with two leaves.

Condition

Vintage condition with scuffs, a ding to the top, nicks at the corners and base, and a tile chip shown in the detail photographs.

Style Notes

The combination of oak and artist-signed tile lends itself to warm Scandinavian interiors, textured textiles and simple wooden chairs. Keep table accessories understated so the tiled surface can remain the focal point.
